The Advisor for Economy and Finance in the DP, Dorian Teliti, has spoken about the latest political developments in the ranks of the SP. In a television appearance, Teliti commented on Veliaj's report with Rama, regarding the SPAK investigations into the mayor. Teliti emphasizes that Veliaj continues to threaten his boss Edi Rama and that the latter has succumbed to pressure from the mayor.

"He ate the pressure the mayor put on him. If I ate it, you will eat it too. It has reached its peak. We are in the 42nd protest today and we will protest endlessly. We will continue to be there. Justice must be done," said Teliti.

The member of the DP Municipal Council said that Veliaj is no longer the leader of Tirana and that he has been replaced by important exponents in the SP. Among other things, he stated that Veliaj has zero political value.

"Veliaj is no longer the leader of Tirana, because he has been replaced by important exponents of the Socialist Party. The fact that 5-6 have come to Tirana clearly shows that Velia has been replaced. Politically, Veliaj has 0 value in the Municipality of Tirana," Teliti declared.

He further added that Veliaj should face justice and that the money that was stolen should be returned. Teliti said that Veliaj should be suspended from duty.

"Veliaj will face justice. The money that was stolen must be returned. SPAK must suspend him from duty. Veliaj is accused of passive and active corruption. SPAK is flying around Veliaj like a sparrow", - Teliti concluded./ CNA
