"Time waits for no one"/ Rama calls on immigrants to register for the

Prime Minister Edi Rama, through social networks, invited emigrants to vote en masse in the parliamentary elections on May 11. Rama emphasized that time passes quickly and that emigrants have until March 4 to register. Meanwhile, the prime minister added that sending the envelope to vote and its return by mail will be paid for by the government.  

"Many of you in exile have written to me saying that you want to vote, or why can't we vote? I have a concern now that we have finally ensured you the right to vote that you may not be left without voting due to a lack of information."

For example, the elections are indeed on May 11, but those of you outside Albania must register between now and March 4. Otherwise, you cannot vote, registration is done on the CEC website. It is not difficult, but it takes patience and a few minutes. Don't put it off until tomorrow as we Albanians are used to because time flies and only those who register by March 4 will be able to vote, there are still 46 days.

The CEC will send you a ballot by mail, you can vote and then return it. The government will also pay for the return of the envelope with your vote, register and vote so that we can raise even higher the respect for the name of Albania wherever you live.

"You know very well who ruined the country's bad name and who raised their heads in Italy, Greece or other countries, so you won't have a hard time. But you have to register because time doesn't wait, register with the CEC," Rama concluded.
