The hot autumn of the opposition in the Assembly

The start of the new parliamentary session in September found the Democrats divided again. The parties within the opposition did not know each other and as a result the floor in the Assembly was sought by each group, with the claim that it owns the majority. The Assembly led by Lindita Nikolla did not recognize Berisha's group as a parliamentary group and therefore conditioned them to minutes, which then led to debates and interruption of sessions.

Starting from October 5, the opposition has tried to block every meeting of the parliament, but this has not stopped the government's irresistible urge to vote on legal initiatives, the democratic deputies have been able to block only the laws that require more votes than the socialist majority, the laws with 84 votes. "Civil disobedience" or opposition action caused parliamentary sessions to be cut short, breaking a record on 20 November. The session lasted only 5 minutes. The Socialists voted "on the run" for 6 laws, while the hall was covered in smoke from lighters and one of the voting devices caught fire. In a few minutes, as never before, the majority approved with 73 votes 6 draft laws, among them the budget in principle.

After the battle in the plenary sessions, the opposition MPs extended their action to the parliamentary commissions. In the moments when they were not allowed to enter the premises of the Presidency of the Assembly to participate, as some were excluded from the work, they chose to enter through the windows.

Parliamentary committees began to be held "online", without the presence of opposition MPs./ CNA
