The DP political leader for the diaspora, Jozefina Topalli, reacted after the release of the opposition leader, Sali Berisha.

"Today, after 350 days of injustice, the court released the leader of the opposition, Sali Berisha.

For 350 days, from his cell window, he did not stop speaking and inspiring people to resist a government mired in corruption and scandals.

His arrest was political, an act in violation of the Constitution and every standard of justice. Without any evidence, he was held hostage by a government that fears the voice of the citizens and the real opposition.

His release today is a testament to the power of truth and resilience. But the battle is not over! The resistance to this corrupt regime continues, and the people will not stop until the restoration of freedom and justice in Albania.
