The head of the parliamentary group of the DP, Gazment Bardhi, has congratulated the SPAK operation regarding the crackdown on the cocaine trafficking criminal group based in Elbasan.

Bardhi said that SPAK should be encouraged to continue the crackdown on organized crime and to crack down on any declared or undeclared members of organized crime, including those who are clothed in political power.

"SPAK has proven the suspected influence of the Elbasan gang on the police, justice or the media and has exposed some of the criminal activities of this criminal organization. For this, SPAK deserves to be congratulated without a doubt and urges it to continue the strikes against organized crime. But I also urge him to act without sparing any declared or undeclared member of organized crime, including those who are clothed in political power," said Bardhi.

On the other hand, Bardhi emphasized that organized crime in Albania has strengthened the most during the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

According to him, criminal groups have acted undisturbed and at the same time have been economically empowered.

"It is a fact that the influence of organized crime in the social and political life of the country has been greatly strengthened during the government of Edi Rama. The criminal groups have not only acted undisturbed, but at the same time they have been economically empowered, as well as they have occupied/dictated the appointments in the key positions of the country's government. For this relief from the state throughout Edi Rama's government, they have continuously served as the Electoral Headquarters of the Socialist Party during election campaigns, buying votes, intimidating and threatening citizens," wrote Bardhi.

Among other things, during his statement, Bardhi raised several questions, which according to him must be answered in order for SPAK to be reliable.

"The questions that still remain unanswered and that must receive an institutional response as soon as possible, for SPAK to be reliable, are:

????What about politics, did the Elbasan Banda have any influence or cooperation?

????Who appoints the sister of the members of the Elbasan gang to head the most important state agency, in one of the sectors that turns out to be the most used to launder the money of criminal organizations - the construction sector? Ms. Adelajda Roka, General Director of the Territorial Development Agency, a direct subordinate of Prime Minister Edi Rama, turns out to be the sister of two of the members of the Elbasan Gang, Marcel and Xino Roka. SPAK should investigate who proposed to Edi Rama her appointment as General Director of AZHT and why Edi Rama appointed her immediately and without any opposition?

????Has there been political interference during the actions of the OFL action for the members of this gang?

????Were the members of this gang "Electoral Headquarters of the Socialist Party in Elbasan" during the 2021 elections and what is being done with the report filed by the DP for this purpose on April 7, 2021, where each of them was identified by first and last name?
