Violence at the protest/ Kelliçi: The police officers hit us

The political leader of the DP for Tirana District, Belind Këlliçi, denounced the violence of the police officers at the protest point at the Municipality of Tirana.

After throwing pressurized water and tear gas, Kelliçi and opposition MPs intervened to stop the autobot, after a protester was injured.

The leader of the DP for Tirana told the media that at this moment, the police officers hit him and the head of branch No. 9 of the DP.

"They threw water with pepper. The reason for the crash is that a woman collapsed on the ground and we were telling the driver of the police car that was dumping the water to stop. There they hit me and the head of branch no. 9. The police hit us with spray cans in our faces. It was not necessary at all", emphasized Kelliçi./ CNA
