Lulzim Basha conducted an interview this Monday, where he stated that he will run for deputy in the district of Tirana.

Basha is trying to run in Tirana, when in fact there is no party.

He has given himself the powers of a non-existent party chairman.

This is after Basha lost the seal of the DP by a court decision and was abandoned by everyone.

Although he claims to be the chairman of the Democratic Party-Euro-Atlantic Democrats, this party does not appear to be registered.

Luli insists that he will go to the elections as a candidate of his party, which does not meet the conditions to enter the 2025 parliamentary elections.

"Yes, I will be a candidate in Tirana. We are awaiting the decision of the Constitutional Court, which I hope will overturn the Rama-Berisha deal to close the lists and give Albanians the opportunity to vote and choose the candidate they want. This is the real race for anyone who thinks they have the support of the citizens and not to hide behind closed lists and become slaves to the next mayor for a place in the closed lists", he says.

The question that arises is how Basha will run, or will he go to the elections as an independent candidate.
