The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, reacted after CNA reported that SPAK provided security measures for two journalists and accompanied dozens of other people as part of the fight against organized crime.

Berisha requested the removal of the measure against Elton Qynos, differentiating him from journalist Artan Hoxha, whom he declared to be a member of the Bajraj gang.

The leader of the opposition for this case has also accused the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani.

"I strongly condemn the imposition of restrictive measures against the brave journalist Elton Qyno, who in a great service to the country has demonstrated with the greatest courage Edi Rama's ties to crime. His abduction by Altin Dumani is one of the most dramatic events in Albania. The robbery of his phones to save Edi Rama from documents that compromise him in the most serious way starting from his trip to Naruba and the gift of half a million euros and others constitute a real criminal act in defense of Edi Rama. I demand the immediate lifting of measures against journalist Elton Qyno. I express my solidarity.
