The leader of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, said from the parliament's rostrum that many of the leaders of municipalities in the country are corrupt. Shehaj said that the most corrupt is the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

Shehaj further added in a response to the leader of the SP group, Taulant Balla, that he is concerned due to an investigation in which his name is mentioned.
