Journalist Enton Abilekaj said today that Erion Veliaj has attempted to destroy evidence and intimidate the prosecutor, an action he is continuing to do even from prison.

Speaking about the investigation, in a television appearance, Abilekaj said that it appears that the file includes a security measure for attempted destruction of evidence.

According to him, Erion Veliaj is not arrested politically, but because he has intimidated prosecutors and attempted to destroy evidence in the cases against him.

"Each party is trying to characterize it as politics, but it is not politics, but a court action on a file about a high-ranking official who has violated the law. It is already evident in the file for security measures for attempted destruction of evidence. Veliaj was not destined for this measure, but it was imposed later because Veliaj attempted to destroy evidence and intimidate the prosecutor, which he is doing even from prison.
