They called the mayor 'asleep' / Basha: They don't even disturb

At the meeting held today at "Skënderbej" Square, between Prime Minister Rama and Tirana Municipality employees, a documentary was broadcast on the transformation of Tirana over the years, with views from the 1990s to the present day.

A short segment was also dedicated to Lulzim Basha, who led the Municipality of Tirana from 2011 to 2015. Ironically, the Socialist Party presented this period as a time when Basha remained passive, portraying the mayor as "asleep."

Lulzim Basha has reacted to this and calls "tired jokes" those made for sleep that don't even disturb his slightest slumber.

Basha says Rama considers the theft a success and that he gathered Tirana Municipality employees today as Enver's volunteers.

"Not even the slightest nap is disturbed by these sleep-weary jokes from someone who considers theft a success, to the point of gathering like Enver's volunteers on this February 20th, to protect the monument of impunity."

Edi Rama's motto "he who does not steal, sleeps" has taken on full value with justice in action.
