CEC deadlines for the May 11 elections / Here are the political parties that

As part of the pre-election procedures, the Central Election Commission has begun submitting requests from political parties to register as electoral entities for the May 11 elections.

As announced by the CEC, 10 electoral entities have been registered so far, as follows:

 1. Christian Democratic Party of Albania (PDK);

2. Legality Movement Party (PLL);

3. National Conservative Party of Albania (PKKA);

4. Democratic Party of Albania (DPSH/DP);

5. Opportunity (Opportunity);

6. Christian Democratic Party (PKD);

7. Knitting Initiative (Initiative);

8. National Unity Party (PUK);

9. Democratic National Front Party (PBKD);

10. Democratic Union Party (PBD).

The CEC announces that political parties have until February 25 to apply to register as electoral entities. /CNA
