Albanians pay Erion Veliaj 110 million euros

Erion Veliaj, arrested on suspicion of corruption and money laundering, has placed very large bills on the shoulders of Albanians.

In addition to the "5D" file, where its directors robbed millions of public money, in addition to the incinerators, which Albanians still continue to pay money for, even though the one in Tirana does not exist and the ones in Elbasan and Fier are simply oil boilers, in addition to the loss of Ardit Gjoklaj's life, Albanians are today paying 110 million euros for the "Becchetti" file, on behalf of Erion Veliaj.

Everything in the "Becchetti" file in Strasbourg begins with Erion Veliaj's blackmailing messages.

The latter complained about the fact that footage from his wedding with Ajola at the Gjirokastra castle had been published.

"I see the group filming Agon in Gjirokastra. I don't understand why you're doing this to me, I thought you left me alone last time! I don't want it! I'm absolutely against this! Tell him that he's going to make enemies of the entire government for no reason! It's private, damn it, respect it because this conversation with you is coming out of my nose!", it was said in the messages published during the time when the scandal broke out.

Then, in April 2023, the Arbitration Court rejected the request for the return of the "Becchetti" case, thus leaving in force the 110 million euro compensation that Albania must pay to the owner of "Agon Channel".

So after this decision, Albanians today are forced to pay Veliaj's bills.

The fact is that today Albanians are paying Becchetti money for Erion Veliaj's messages, who was exerting pressure on them with messages just as he wrote to BKH officers, as he wrote to journalists.
