The Democratic Party, in today's presentation of the 2025-2029 Government Program, also focused on Albanian immigrants.

The party leader, Sali Berisha, in his speech, emphasized that Albania is in great need of a policy that encourages and brings back hundreds of thousands who have left this country.

Berisha said that if the DP wins the elections, immigrants will be tax-free for a period of 5 years and will be assisted with soft loans and grants.

Yes! These hundreds of thousands of Albanians who have left this country, some of them are qualified, some of them are businessmen, today very successful in those countries. Others are researchers, scientists, experts, specialists.

But the vast majority of them are workers, ordinary people, who stay in those countries because they get a better salary, their work is better paid. They work in agriculture, they work in hard work, so we will do everything to get them back to Albania.

May their savings succeed in this country.

A period of 5 years will be tax-free.

But this is not the only measure for their smooth return to Albania. No, a series of other measures are needed.

We need favorable loans, we need grants for their start-ups. So, if in the years 2009-2013 about 180 thousand immigrants returned, we must do everything to quickly reverse the current situation so that their return can begin.

The program in this area, or the success of our program in this area, is the most important barometer of the achievement of the objectives of our future government.

But on the other hand, the victory of May 11 is of vital importance precisely to save the Albanian family and the emptying of this country in the most unimaginable way.

Other nations also live with differences from rich nations, they also have the same standards for movement in Europe, but no nation like ours is being diminished, is not being desolated in the true sense of the word.
