The deputy of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, has stated that the DP has opened the internal competition for the candidates who will compete in the local elections.

In an interview for "Euroneës Albania", Noka said that primaries will be applied in DP, which according to him, are a novelty in Albanian politics.

"This fall, the Democratic Party will also open the internal competition for candidates for the heads of local governments. Primaries have been and are the greatest innovation of Albanian politics. It is an innovation that the Democratic Party introduces for the first time.

Primaret janë ajo risi që i sjell pushtetit dhe vendimmarrjen anëtarit të partisë, jo kryetarit apo Kryesisë së partisë. Do të jenë anëtarët e partisë, ata që do vendosin për emrat që do t’i përfaqësojnë përballë qeverisë dhe për bashkinë. Selia qendrore, Kryesia e saj do të ketë rol honorifik në këtë proces”, theksoi Noka.

Ndër të tjera Noka ka thënë se logoja e kësaj force politike po mbahet peng nga kryeministri Edi Rama, por se ai nuk mund të kontrollojë vullnetin e demokratëve dhe popullit opozitar.

Ndërkaq ai shprehet i sigurtë se kandidatët e PD-së dhe opozitës do të kenë një fitore plebishitare në zgjedhjet vendore.
