This Sunday morning, Prime Minister Edi Rama published a photo of Thumana after the earthquake of November 26, 2019, and of the reconstructed houses.

Rama declares that this photo is a postcard and an example of the power of politics to rekindle hope, faith and pride for the homeland.

We recall that about 4 years ago, Albania was hit by a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4, which took the lives of 51 people and injured over 3,000 others.

After the earthquake of November 26, 2019, the government started the reconstruction of the destroyed housing to house the families that were affected by the earthquake. One of the damaged areas was Thumana./ CNA
