The member of the Municipal Council, Dorjan Teliti, has named the head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, as the only political prisoner of the 21st century.

During his speech at the gathering, Teliti emphasized that resistance is the only way to return democracy to Albania.  

"Thanking you for these 256 days of uninterrupted resistance, here in support of the leader of the opposition Prof. Dr. Berisha, in support of the only political prisoner of the 21st century, of Albania, which aspires to enter Europe.

I personally thank all of you for this persistence because the only way to return democracy to Albania is persistence, persistence, persistence," said Teliti./ CNA
