A strong call was made by the protest in front of the Municipality of Tirana, which is headed by Erion Veliaj.

The secretary of PL, Tedi Blushi, declared that the protests against Veliaj should be escalated to protect the rights of the residents of Tirana.

He underlined that the escalation is necessary because the Municipality of Tirana continues to pay tens of millions of euros for cleaning and the capital has been choked by garbage.

"In these buildings, in the prime minister's house and in every den, let this police, who tried today to bring the citizens into conflict, forget that we will withdraw. The police should arrest Veliaj and not come with scooters and fight with the people, as we have no intention of fighting because if we want to, we can wipe out this building.  

Escalation is needed since we are here to protect the rights of the residents of Tirana while this institution pays tens of millions of euros for cleaning and the city has been drowned by garbage.

Before this criminal kills the future of young people, we must show the country to Veliaj and dum duman who want to imprison the leader of the opposition, we call on them to come to their senses as they will have a worse end than your fathers. We will win, Tirana will win, you will win", said Blushi./ CNA
