Prime Minister Rama held a meeting today with representatives of transport companies at the Port of Durres. Rama also discussed the facilitation of procedures and improvements that could be made in the future for the Port of Durres.

In his speech, Rama said that a new port should be built that will be ultra-modern with all types of elements of a port of international standards.

Rama said that it is expected that the port will also have military components that will be used by NATO.

At the end of the meeting, the agreement between the General Directorate of Customs and the General Directorate of State Police for "An addendum to the joint Order of the two directorates for the approval of the rules "On cooperation in carrying out joint procedures and actions of Police and Customs Authorities" was signed - by the General Director of Customs and the General Director of State Police.

"One more thing I want to add, you know, but just to give you some information. We will build the new port that will be ultra-modern with all kinds of elements of a port of international standards that is built from scratch, because ports from scratch are generally built and are built outside of Europe. There is nothing like it in Europe."
