Chamber of Commerce Meeting/ Berisha: Businessmen in Albania in difficult

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, was present at a meeting held by the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Business Associations.

During his speech, Berisha said that the conditions for businessmen in Albania are as difficult as in any other country. Berisha said that the DP will approve the Fiscal Code during the first four years and a flat tax of 10% will be imposed.

" Businessmen in Albania are in difficult conditions like in no other country. We have declared "Made in Albania", Albanian production as a national pride. We will do everything so that this country produces as much as possible, with as much quality and competitiveness. We consider an emergency intervention in the economy vital, a revolution that we think will be essential.

The Fiscal Code will be approved in the first four years and will not get worse. A flat tax of 10% will be imposed. Electricity will be the cheapest in Europe, 6 lek/kW. The property sales tax will be reduced to 2%. The number of inspections will be reduced, inspectors are big time robbers ", said Berisha./ CNA
