The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, in a statement to the media after the meeting at the Presidency of the Assembly, stated that the appointment of chairmen in the Assembly shows the authoritarian spirit that Rama has installed.

"It is unacceptable for the Assembly to inform public opinion about the organization of the Albanian Parliament. The committees are a joint work of the opposition and the majority. The organization of the work of the Assembly should be a joint product of the opposition and the majority."

"The presentation of these changes in the Assembly, the fact of the appointment of the chairmen and deputy chairmen, shows the authoritarian spirit that Rama has installed in Albania," said Bardhi.

He further commented that the dissolution of the Integration Commission was done with the intention of excluding the opposition.

"We have clarified that with the action of dissolving the Integration Committee, the mechanism that the opposition had in its hands is now nullified because this committee has merged with the Foreign Affairs Committee and the opposition will not have the leadership of this process in the Assembly."

"This act is the will of the majority to exclude the opposition," Bardhi declared./ CNA
