GJKKO decided the security measure "obligation to appear" for the former prime minister Sali Berisha and according to the decision the latter must appear twice a month in front of judicial police officers.

This Monday, November 6, is the date for Berisha's first appearance.

Until now, it is not known whether the former prime minister will appear in SPAK before the judicial police.

But earlier, Berisha stated that he does not recognize the decision of the GJKKO, as according to him it is unconstitutional.

According to the law, if the chief democrat does not appear in SPAK, GJKKO can take a more severe measure.

We remind you that SPAK has raised accusations that Berisha has committed the criminal offense of "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials", committed in cooperation with his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezin.

SPAK claims that Berisha, in his capacity as Prime Minister, has favored the privatization procedures of the former "Partizani" complex and the direct beneficiary has been Malltezi.

On the land of the former complex "Partizani", Malltezi, as an investor from the company "Homeplan" sh.pk, has carried out constructions and the benefits are calculated in the amount of 672 billion lek or 5 million euros./  CNA
