Sokol Sadushi reveals the figures/ 2,000 individuals have sued state bodies for

The head of the Supreme Court, Sokol Sadushi, has recently spoken about property issues, for which he indicated that there are about 14,000 files in the institution he leads.

Sadushi said that about 2,000 of these files are lawsuits by individuals against state bodies.

He emphasized in the interview with Anila Hoxha that these files have been divided for review between the Civil College and the Administrative College.

"Actually, for properties, we have them intertwined because property issues must be seen in two directions. Property issues that are in conflict with the state and property issues that are between individuals. If we focus on the cases with conflict with defendants, the state bodies that are divided between the Civil College and the Administrative College amount to approximately 2,000 cases. While a significant part is a dispute they create between the individuals themselves.

This is actually a very high figure, considering that the majority of conflicts in the civil field are around 14 thousand in total, including family conflicts, commercial conflicts, etc. It is occupied by property conflicts", said the head of the Supreme Court.

However, Sadushi does not look with much concern at the amount of 2,000 files with state bodies, since the number of files of conflicts between individuals is much higher.

"2,000 cases with defendants, state bodies, I mean the cases with the former property investigation commission or the former property restitution agency, now with the property handling agency, of course also with the part of the State Cadastre Agency, considering that it is about the years 2016 and following, it is a considerable number, but I believe that it is not as high as the number of conflicts between individuals.

I also asked the question where it comes from and maybe in the first place it is not having a clear concept or a respect for the property and it is a matter of mentality. Where everyone thinks that they can become owners in all kinds of ways, and this has probably found a place also due to the fact that public administration bodies are, let's say, the main causes of this situation. Without excluding the judicial bodies, which have deepened this conflict much more. This is an unfortunate situation, but there is something that ultimately conflicts within the family or within the tribe should be avoided as much as possible, the ways are different. We must have respect for ourselves and for each other in order to think that hard-earned property should be enjoyed. The reasons are both social and economic between the families", declared the head of the Supreme Court.

Further, Sadushi revealed that the Civil College is currently finishing the 2015 cases and will soon move on to the 2016 cases.

"The most difficult and busiest years are 2016 - 2017 - 2018, then there is a significant decrease in them. If we focus on these three years, I am convinced that this number will decrease. There is a significant number of property conflict issues within individuals, what is regrettable is the fact that there are so many conflicts within the family," he continued./ CNA
