"Albania has done its integration tasks"/ Rama: The future is in the

Prime Minister Edi Rama, also the leader of the Socialist Party, is holding a meeting with young people to introduce Tirana's candidates. In his speech, Rama focused extensively on the country's integration process into the European Union.

Rama emphasized that Albania has completed its integration tasks and that the country's future lies in the EU.

Rama considered himself the most internal witness of this process and said that he had never before seen the EU's desire to join.

Rama added that Albania is one of the two countries closest to accession, at a moment that the prime minister called very specific regarding balances in the world.

"Albania has done its homework and requested that negotiations be opened, but one of the countries has always said no."

They have repeated to us that our future is in the EU.

I, who am a witness to this process from the inside, have never seen what I see today, and we have never before touched their desire for Albania to become a member of the EU.

We have done our duties.

Every time they told us no, we kept working and did a lot of tasks beforehand.

They want to send a message that the EU is expanding.

And to do this, there are only 2 countries that can join quickly: Albania and Montenegro.

They want it because the world is in a different situation.

Because the balances have shifted and at this very moment and for this reason, the stars of our destiny and Europe have aligned.
