The candidate of the opposition for the municipality of Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, presented the project for smart traffic lights this evening.

Kelliçi showed on Çim Peka's show what intelligent traffic lights are, which are expected to ease traffic. He also explained how they will work.

"Smart traffic lights are a brilliant idea to solve the traffic in Tirana, one of my main focuses is the issue of parking and solving the traffic and to solve the traffic so far I have given two interventions, the free bus, on the other hand the solution for intervention in Skënderbej square for the construction of an underground passage to free traffic in the center and the third solution is smart traffic lights, which means that they calculate by themselves depending on the traffic how many seconds the traffic light should be free or blocked, so that not to open a traffic light for 90 seconds for two cars, and to open it for 10 seconds for a row of cars", said the opposition candidate./ CNA.al
