The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has made a reaction after Prime Minister Edi Rama's letter about the departure of Yuri Kim from Albania, where she served as the US ambassador.

Berisha raises accusations that Yuri Kim, during her stay in Tirana, was a strong supporter of Rama, as the secretary of the Socialist Party and as an ideological enemy of the conservative opposition.

According to him, as the American ambassador, she synchronized the government in countless attacks on the opposition, interfered in an unconstitutional and illegal way in court decisions against the real opposition and put constant pressure on the opening of judicial processes against the opposition.

Also, the former prime minister claims that Yuri Kim made open unconstitutional efforts to appoint the DP chairman, using open threats against members of the right and supporting Lulzim Basha.

Dear friends, today Edi Rama dedicates a political lyric, a real apotheosis, to Ambassador Yuri Kim, who during her stay in Tirana was a strong supporter of him and, as the media, analysts and politicians appreciated, as the secretary of the Socialist Party , but also as an ideological enemy of the conservative opposition. She synchronized with Edi Rama and his government countless attacks on the opposition, his anti-democratic efforts to control the opposition to support his monist power. She intervened in an unconstitutional and illegal way in court decisions against the real opposition, she put constant pressure on the opening of judicial processes against the opposition.

She is the ambassador who, with her positions as governor and anti-opposition, damaged more than anyone else the reputation of the great country of freedom in Albania and was attacked dozens of times by personalities, media and politicians of the entire opposition and independent political spectrum. for the partisanship in its attitudes, for the flagrant violation of the "Vienna Convention" always in the interest of the government of Edi Rama. Yuri Kim is the ambassador who in 32 years lied more publicly than any other ambassador to the Albanians, always against the opposition and in support of the author of today's political lyrics. During her years in Albania, the biggest scandal in relations between the two countries broke out, the McGonigal scandal.

She did not react to any scandal of the Edi Rama government, the illegal destruction of the National Theater, the violation of the June 2020 agreement on the electoral law, the corrupt affair of the incinerators. Mrs. Yuri Kim never told the Albanians a single word about the Rama-McGonigal superscandal because she herself, according to the evidence, somehow became part of the scheme to fine Albanian businessmen by the fines group directed directly by McGonigal. She, like no other ambassador, used her power as a representative of the great country of freedom to promote and support open corrupt affairs worth hundreds of millions of dollars in Albania. Former ambassador Yuri Kim did not respect the ambassador's ethical standards with her attitudes.

Dear friends, during her stay in Albania, Ambassador Yuri Kim made open unconstitutional attempts to appoint the chairman of the Democratic Party, the country's conservative force, using open threats against members of the Democratic Party and surprisingly supporting the man who, in a report made publicly, the US intelligence community had directly accused him of accepting $500,000 in Russian funding. All this to support and consolidate the power of the author of the political lyric Edi Rama. But in her political struggle without any principles, Mrs. Kim went so far as to falsify the Albanian-American relations in the most disgusting way on their 100th anniversary, testifying to a culture of the extreme left which the Albanians have not yet forgotten from the time of the Hoxha dictatorship.
