Gazment Bardhi, who is known as one of the people closest to Lulzim Basha, has for days opposed the elections for the new leader of the DP, where the latter is a candidate.

In an interview with Nisida Tufa, Bardhi revealed Basha, whom CNA previously reported will return to the head of the DP with a fake election process.

This was confirmed today by the member of the Democratic Party of Vula. When asked about the race between Gjergj Hani and Lulzim Basha, Bardhi stated that the election process is a farce.

" From the moment you say that the result is known, it is not a fair and transparent process, but a farce. I judged that after September 9, we should offer a new model of the organization and processes within the DP ", he emphasized.

Meanwhile, we recall that 17 members of the Democratic Party of Vula decided that the elections for the new leader will be held on July 29. In the race, Lulzim Basha, the resigned head of the Democratic Party, who turns out to be on duty at the court, and Gjergj Hani, a former persecuted politician, have been confirmed as candidates./ CNA.al
