One of the problems of the tourism industry now that the country is in the summer tourist season is the lack of employees.
Prime Minister Edi Rama also highlighted this concern of businesses this afternoon, who said that the lack of labor is a serious problem.
He stated that salaries are very competitive and that as a result businesses are forced to look for employees from abroad.
" The problem today in the tourism industry is not whether there are jobs. But the work arm. There is a lot of demand from the industry for workers from the most unskilled to the most skilled. There is always more and more to expand the space of demand beyond the borders of Albania because this is always more and more serious problem.
Salaries in this industry are always more competitive and will be more. We are in the region where the 'biggest wolves' of European tourism are. Because we know very well what Greece, Croatia, Montenegro and Italy are facing ," the head of government emphasized./ CNA.al
