The Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, has spoken again about the police operation and the tensions in the mujahedin camp in Manez, Durrës.

Peleshi said that the intervention of the police in the mujahedin camp was in full compliance with the laws of the Albanian state.

He declared that the government is determined not to allow "islands to be created where the laws can be exceeded".

"Normally, in this community, we will continue to be a host country and we will fulfill all the humanitarian commitments we have undertaken, but without violating any law of the Albanian state", said the minister.

Regarding cyber attacks by Iran against the Albanian state, Peleshi said that nothing can justify such an action

"We will react at any moment that national security is violated. After that unsuccessful attack by Iran, the Albanian state has taken several measures in cyber security to protect our digital data. We discourage any destructive force that approaches Albania, since Albania is a NATO country, we react with courage and strength when national security is threatened", Peleshi emphasized./ CNA.al
