"Fix the mistake you made"/ Shehu: It was a mistake that the Assembly

Democratic Party MP Tritan Shehu described it as a mistake not to observe a minute of silence in homage to the American activist who died after an assassination attempt, Charlie Kirk.

In his speech in the Assembly, Shehu said that the majority should self-criticize, as this is a rare case that has taken on large proportions even in the US.

"In the last session, I requested some formal elements of Parliament. They were not put in the minutes. I tell you and I ask you again. Do self-criticism. You did not hold 1 minute of silence for Charlie Kirk. Did you see what happened in the USA? Hasn't the time come for you to understand that you made a serious mistake? And to call upon your conscience to organize 1 minute of silence for the man, to do it today. Fix the big mistake you made," said Shehu./ CNA
