"US partnership, a precious value"/ Lamallari hosts Nancy VanHorn in a

Minister of Justice, Besfort Lamallari, received in a meeting the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Tirana, Nancy VanHorn.

Through a post on social media, Lamallari said yesterday that the meeting discussed the progress of justice reform and the strengthening of the rule of law.

The minister further says that they remain committed to strengthening the capacities of justice institutions. Lamallari says that the partnership and support of the US are a precious asset.

" It was a pleasure to meet today with the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Tirana, Ms. Nancy VanHorn. We discussed the progress of the implementation of the justice reform, the rule of law and the strengthening of the rule of law, to make the progress achieved so far irreversible and to guarantee EU membership by 2030. We remain committed to strengthening our capacities in the justice institutions and the penitentiary system, as well as to intensify bilateral cooperation. The strategic partnership with the US and their continued support in many key reforms are of invaluable value to us ," writes Minister Lamallari./CNA
