"The opposition has the opportunity to win in Tirana"/ Shehaj proposes

The leader of the Mundësia Party, Agron Shehaj, invited to the "Noë" show with journalist Erla Mëhilli, said that the opposition has the opportunity to win the local elections in Tirana since the candidate proposed by the Socialists is weak and does not enjoy the respect of citizens.

Asked if there is news about any specific name, Shehaj said that there are no negotiations yet, but the candidate must be someone who enjoys respect, not from the DP, not from Mundësia, implying a joint candidate from the opposition.

Shehaj said that he made a proposal.

" We, as the opposition, must understand that we have a chance to win because the Socialist Party candidate is very weak, he is one of the most hated, he has been in institutions where there was corruption, like in the Ministry of Health.

We need an independent candidate, not from the DP, not from Opportunity, a candidate from the city of Tirana who enjoys respect.

"There are no negotiations, we have no news about the candidate, I have made a proposal ," said Shehaj./ CNA
