"There were no guarantees"/ Këlliçi: Rama did not allow

DP MP Belind Këlliçi has stated that it is Prime Minister Edi Rama who did not allow Mayor Erion Veliaj to be absent from the Municipal Council meeting where his dismissal was voted on.

According to Këlliç, this action comes from the fear that Rama does not know what Veliaj could say at that meeting.

"To humiliate him to the end. It is not known what he can say, under the effect of hallucinogens. We cannot imagine the state of mind he is in."  

There was no guarantee what he could say at that meeting, so Rama didn't allow it.

We have a one-man show in everything. We have a prime minister who plays the role of the almighty and the sun itself in this country.

"What will Erion Veliaj do? It remains to be seen if he has any shred of dignity, he should raise his voice about what happened to him, even from his political father, Edi Rama. I doubt that Veliaj will lower his head and accept today's decision without any complaint," said Këlliçi./ CNA
