Roland Bejko: If I didn't want to compete in the elections, Alibeaj would resign

The candidate of the seal group for the Municipality of Tirana, Roland Bejko, has stated that if he did not participate in the race for the local elections on May 14, Enkelejd Alibeaj would have resigned and the seal would remain, according to him, the head of DP, Sali Berisha.

In an interview with the media, Bejko justified the removal of the "seal" candidates by blaming Berisha.

According to him, the candidates were pressured by the chief democrat, telling them not to take on the burden of losing the election.

"Today, anyone who is not with PD should be with Berisha, even these departures are part of the pressure, let's unite so that you don't take responsibility for the loss, because they can't handle the pressure, not even on May 14 where they will be told why they lost you. If I didn't want to compete, Alibeaj would resign and the seal would go to Sali Berisha" , he added./ CNA.al
