"Parsley and dill reform"/ Economic expert: Rama will divert attention

Economic Affairs Expert, Dorian Teliti, has commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama's action regarding the release of public spaces.

According to him, Rama is taking his attention away from something and is dealing with small things.

"Parsley reform, rosemary dill reform. There is something the prime minister wants to distract from, I don't know what's going on, maybe we'll find out in the coming days, there is something the prime minister is trying to distract from and deal with these little tweets."

Look, the fact that we have problems with food safety is not debatable, but the prime minister and the government should start with the pesticides used in the agricultural sector, not with a handful of people who impose them, even on farmers and ranchers, with scandalous quality and the highest prices in the region.

Let the prime minister deal with the issues, how is it possible that today we have halved the number of heads in Albania, then deal with milk.

Of course, food security is important, it has to do with human life, but do you remember one fine day saying that milk is a problem in this country, or that old woman's oregano that was shared on social media, where the taxman asked her where her receipt was. I got it in the mountains, she said. Where did that poor woman get the receipt there?!

This is not the first time this has happened, we have seen it before when the municipal police come and take away crates of tomatoes, eggplants or cucumbers where the farmer has worked all year to obtain that product, they come and take it and confiscate it.

Yesterday they did this, today they did this and that in the name of food security, maybe tomorrow in the name of someone else, and these are sad scenes, we should not watch them.

If they want to talk about food safety, they should get to the part about how it was possible that chicken with salmonella entered our country? No one spoke for a month or so until the chicken was consumed by Albanians.

"From this action, neither the Albanian nor the farmer wins, only the importer's fist wins. What has the state done for food safety? Where are the state laboratories?" said Teliti./ CNA
