"He has lured people into crime"/ Bushati: Rama has encouraged

Analyst Andi Bushati expressed criticism of Prime Minister Edi Rama's positions regarding construction in Theth.

Invited to a show on 'Syri TV', Bushati said that Rama's statements long ago encouraged construction, while now he called for their demolition.

Bushati accused Rama of pushing people towards crime and committing a double crime by punishing them for the crime he himself initiated.

"I wasn't in Albania for about 2 days and when I saw the general views I said: oh, finally it's good that I had the opportunity to be pro-Edi Rama for once, because when I saw those kiosks at the church in Theth, I said: yes, Edi Rama is right here, it can't be built in the church here and it's good that they're being torn down.

If you looked at the main news that most media outlets were reporting, this was the focus, if you look at it now, this is not happening. I had to go back from being a citizen, to doing the job of a journalist to really understand what had happened.

And why is this disinformation being spread? This disinformation is being spread precisely to hide those statements by Rama. And what were Rama's statements?
If we take them logically and analyze them, what does Rama say? Rama says: You built without a permit but I will waive your fines.

So, in a way, politically this is legalization for illegal construction.

What else does it say? It says: I will waive your fines because why did you do this? You did it because you did not have property titles. So, in a way, it recognizes your right to build without a permit, because it is the state's fault that it did not enable them to build with a permit.

And third, after saying these two elements, he also says the third element: although you still don't have the property titles, your sons should come from abroad because they earn more here than through immigration, so go ahead and continue building.

We have 3 points and 3 elements, which is the prime minister who encourages them to do this work and wakes up one day and says: no, we will destroy all of this.

And if you look at it, it's not just the demolition of the kiosks at the church, even today if you listened to him he would say: look, they don't have to put their heads in it, they have it for business.

If only he were aware that you, who invited them a year ago to come and do business, built without a business permit.
So, in all senses, it is the prime minister who invited them and a normal mind cannot understand why the prime minister who invites them is the man who brings the scumbags to destroy them.

Here we can then begin to speculate: is he doing it to hide something else, is he creating a smokescreen of these typical things that autocrats create to deal with one thing and leave another in the shade? This is where our job as journalists is to speculate.

"But the fact is that all of this, we have a man who has tricked people into committing a crime, and is committing a double crime by punishing them for the crime he himself started," Bushati said./CNA
