The wave of resignations in the country's municipalities continues. This afternoon, it was learned that resignations have been submitted by the administrators of the Gjirokastër, Cepo, Lazarat, Lunxheri, Antigone, Odrie and Picar units.

As reported, a total of seven administrators of units in the Gjirokastra Municipality have resigned.

Meanwhile, the seven officials will continue to exercise their duties until an official decision is made.

These resignations follow a series of other cases this Monday in several regions of the country, after Prime Minister Edi Rama gave an ultimatum at a meeting held with the country's mayors last Friday./CNA
