Prime Minister Edi Rama in the meeting with the deputies and ministries has harshly targeted the head of the Municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj. 

Rama clearly stated that if someone who is elected head of a municipality puts his hands into the coffers of this state and the pockets of this people, it is not us.

He said that in this case we are dealing with a traitor. 

"Just like someone who is elected head of a municipality, if he puts his hands into the coffers of this state and the pockets of this people, he is not us. UK has no way of being us, nor how to ask for anything else from us except contempt. In other words, every member of this political family who commits corruption in public functions is a double traitor not only of the Albanian people like every thief in a suit who takes what is not his but also of the SP like every parasite that feeds on the blood of the body where it grows", said Rama. /CNA
