Rama criticizes Europe: It still does not have its own peace plan to end the war

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared a criticism of European countries, as they still do not have a plan to end the war in Ukraine.

During an interview with the French media outlet TV 5 Monde, Rama stated that Europe should reflect on peace.

Rama said that the solution should not be seen only in terms of funds, but also diplomacy.

"This is the problem. And if we are talking about peace, and if we are holding a forum dedicated to peace here in Paris, then we should reflect on a very simple fact, and in my opinion, a very important fact: that Europe itself does not yet have its own peace plan to end the war in Ukraine. This does not mean that what we are doing with the aid fund for Ukraine, or with the fund that supports Europe's military strength, is not right, but it means that it cannot go in this direction alone, because it seems that diplomacy is dead, and now only the drumbeat of war remains. This is unacceptable," Rama said./CNA
