Former Prime Minister's passing/Opposition condolence messages

Opposition figures have expressed their condolences on the passing of former Prime Minister Fatos Nano.

The head of PAA, Agron Duka, describes Nano as a man who was guided by love for people and did not know how to take revenge.

The Duke says that Albanians were lucky to have a man like Nano in a difficult era.

 

" A person knows many people in life, but not all of them leave deep traces like their mother, father, and family."

One man I will never forget was Fatos Nano.

A man with an innate intelligence, but also deep in knowledge. He was guided by love for people. He did not know how to take revenge, but he knew how to forgive.

Albanians were lucky to have a tolerant, socially liberal, and knowledgeable man like him in a difficult era.

"Rest in peace, my friend. May you be in heaven ," the Duke writes.

 

Democratic MP Tritan Shehu also reacted to Nano's passing.

Through a post on social media, Shehu writes that Nano's demise is a loss for the socialists and Albanian politics.

A loss for the socialist family.

A loss for Albanian politics.

Condolences to his family, who feel and experience this loss more than anyone else.

Condolences to colleagues over the years, friends and comrades.
