Rama from Azerbaijan: The Korca gasification study is ready

Prime Minister Edi Rama was this Friday in Azerbaijan where he participated in the 10th Summit of the Southern Gas Corridor.

Rama attached great importance to the progress of the Korca gasification project.

The head of the government declared that the study of the gasification of the Korça area is ready, as the first step of the gas expansion program for general consumption in Albania.

Rama emphasized the same thing in a status on social networks, where he shared a photo with the president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

"The honor of President Ilham Aliyev was invited to address the 10th Summit of the Southern Gas Corridor, as well as to jointly discuss the progress of our joint projects in the field of energy, where the study of the gasification of the area is now ready of Korça, as the first step of the gas extension program for general consumption in Albania, just as the study of the TAP connecting pipe with the Vlora TEC is nearing completion, while the investment for commissioning has begun and the expansion of the latter's capacities. Albania and Azerbaijan will further develop projects of common interest, on the path of a friendship and partnership that will only strengthen at every step", writes the head of government next to the photos./ CNA
