The spokesperson of the Democratic Party, Floriana Garo, said in a statement on the annual report of Freedom House, that the lack of transparency and dysfunctional governance continue to constitute the fundamental feature of the regime in Albania.

In her speech, she stated that the Democratic Party calls on international organizations and partners to continue the pressure on the Rama government, which ignores one of the primary recommendations of the OSCE-ODHIR and its partners, an inclusive electoral reform.

"The demand of the opposition remains relevant even in the light of the conclusions of the Freedom House report: a technical government that ensures free elections and accepted by all parties", said Garo.

In the latest Freedom House report, Albania is a country with a lack of transparency, dysfunctional governance, and no free elections.
These three phrases actually briefly, clearly and clearly describe the governance model of the last 10 years of Edi Rama's narco-regime.

The Democratic Party appreciates the report of Freedom House and especially the conveyance in it of our concern about the last elections, also reflected in the final report of OSCE-ODHIR.

The Democratic Party reiterates its position that, without free and fair elections, there cannot be a functional Albania. Also, with Edi Rama at the head of the government, there can be no free elections and no functionality.
