The EU-Western Balkans Summit/Rama hosts the leaders at the Palace of Congresses

Today in the Palace of Congresses, the EU-Western Balkans will be held, where the focus will be on the implementation of the Economic Growth Plan, as well as the journey of the countries of the region in the European Union.

Prime Minister Edi Rama is currently at the entrance of the Palace of Congresses and is waiting in line for the leaders participating in this summit. 

As a representative of the EU, the Commissioner for Neighborhood Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, will be in Tirana, while the President of the EC, Ursula Von der Leyen, will not be present.

The prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, will not be physically part of the summit. The spokesperson of the Government of Kosovo, Përparim Kryeziu, has announced that the Prime Minister of Kosovo will broadcast his message virtually. He will not be part of the summit in Tirana due to commitments.

On the other hand, the Serbian president Aleksandër Vucic will be present. For the first time as the prime minister of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi will also be present at the summit.
