The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, in a press conference after the meeting with representatives of the Albanian National Council of the Presheva Valley and universities in Albania, said that the Albanian government will provide 30 scholarships per year for students from this area. 

Hasani clarified that the scholarships will be awarded starting from the next academic year 2024-2025.  

"30 scholarships per year, starting from the next academic year 2024-2025. Students from the Presheva Valley benefit from scholarships at Albanian universities. Students free accommodation throughout the study period. The Municipality of Gjirokastra offers employment opportunities for students during the summer months. The selection of education as the main focus of support for the Valley is not accidental. It is clear that the effort to strengthen and revitalize this community begins with education. Our commitment to support our compatriots does not end here. Albania, clear will in supporting them through concrete initiatives", said Hasani./ CNA
