"Qato, Molla & Co" behind bars/ Muçollari: SPAK to arrest

"Immediately arrest the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj!"

This is the call that the member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Grigels Muçollari, made to SPAK. In a reaction to CNA TV, Muçollari commented on the latest developments in the Municipality of Tirana.

"We are dealing with a whole new level of abuse and corruption in government. A level never seen and never heard of. In this decade of government by the socialists we have heard of profits of 20%, 30%, 40%, even 60%, for services related to IT services, but they surprised us again and brought to our attention a history of corruption that reaches 100%.

These gentlemen had gathered together, the 5 famous directors and had agreed why should we profit 20%, why not profit all. The entire institution of the Municipality of Tirana has fallen. Arrest a dozen directors, I don't know how Erion Veliaj is still in office.

I call on the SPAK to undertake the investigations as soon as possible, so that the investigative secrecy is not broken. Erion Veliaj must leave office as soon as possible. It cannot be governed by a mayor, from whom all the directors have stolen 100% of the funds. These have turned into several gangs at the head of the same country, where they compete to see who can steal the most, and they don't care about public opinion. The opponent did not understand the problem inside out. I hope new arrests are made, starting with the mayor."

Muçollari says that the Municipality of Tirana and the government have so many scandals that it seems as if they are defusing each other.

"So many scandals are coming out, that it seems as if these scandals are coming out to erase each other. Either Rama or Veliaj have had their strategy, when scandal follows scandal, to leave as little memory as possible. It seems to me that , as heavy as the incinerator. The member of the Presidency of the DP also stated that there have been attempts by different media to hide or suppress the truth, due to interests.
