The Political Leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, reacted through a message on social media after the opposition protest ended.
Këlliçi posts some photos and thanks all the participants.
"Thank you to all those who protested for a European Albania today," he writes.
Earlier, Këlliçi stated that the protest was against Edi Rama's government, calling the entire cabinet a "criminal organization."
"They are protesting for economic reasons, for the depopulation of Albania, for the miserable situation in which the ordinary citizen finds himself. Against a prime minister who drinks a bottle of wine in his fabulous surroundings for 33,600 euros, the equivalent of 200 monthly pensions," said the DP's political leader for Tirana./ CNA
