DP: SP exploits the administration for campaigning, opposition voters are
Head of the Justice Department in the Democratic Party, Franc Nuri

The head of the Justice Department in the Democratic Party, Franc Nuri, leveled accusations against the government after the "Piranhas" show denounced the diaspora vote.

Nuri said in a press statement, Nuri said that potential opposition voters are facing difficulties registering on the CEC application for the diaspora.

He claimed that the opposite is happening to potential SP voters, who he said are being favored.

According to him, the SP is using the state administration for electoral campaigning and on the other hand is preventing opposition supporters from registering in the CEC application.

Full denunciation:

Yesterday, the investigation of the show "Piranhas" was made public, through which it is proven that potential Opposition voters face difficulties in registering in the CEC application for the Diaspora. While potential Socialist Party voters have facilities that come, among other things, from the maximum, but totally illegal, commitment of an entire state administration machinery, run by central and local elected representatives of the Socialist Party.

Investigative media, with clear and understandable facts and evidence, revealed the way the party-state is organized in order to control the Albanian vote:

According to the show "Piranhas", for the registration of socialist voters who may have difficulties in this online registration process, this political force does not hesitate to misuse the administration, starting from Ministers to Mayors of the country, as well as their staff, who travel almost 700 KM to go to Athens to register potential voters.

This SP meeting in Athens was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, Minister of Education Ogerta Manastirliu, the socialist mayors of the municipalities of Fier, Lushnja, Roskovec, and a considerable number of central and local administration employees.

But beyond the legitimate questions of whether state vehicles are allowed to be used on weekends for electoral meetings or in function of the ruling Socialist Party's political campaign, or who paid for the expenses of these meetings in the Greek capital, what resulted even more scandalous from this Investigation was undoubtedly the statement of an employee who claimed to have come from the CEC to that meeting organized by the Socialist Party, precisely to assist in the registration of voters from the diaspora.

According to the footage, the person in question declares that she was a "CEC representative", adding that she was participating "in a CEC project", while the hall was filled with militants and senior leaders of the Socialist Party.

We remind you that, if the person in question has falsely declared holding a title or public function that he does not hold, this again constitutes a criminal offense of "Using a state title or duty" and is punishable by up to 2 years in prison, according to Article 264 of the Criminal Code.

Even worse, if it turns out that the employee is from the CEC, then there has been exploitation or use of state employees for electoral meetings or electoral purposes, which is considered a criminal offense and is punishable by up to 3 years in prison, according to Article 328/a of the Criminal Code.

But beyond this case, what stands out is the ugly phenomenon of the illegal exploitation of the state administration, even outside official working days and hours, to send them by "force-determination" abroad, sometimes to fill the halls, and sometimes to deal with the process of registering emigrants in the diaspora! Beyond legal violations and human exploitation, the misuse of the administration for purely electoral and electoral purposes is also a violation of the dignity of each individual who is forced to obey the illegal orders of their superiors.

It goes without saying that SPAK and the CEC should have already started investigations into these cases on their own initiative.

In conclusion, I take this opportunity to call on every democrat, every politically uncommitted Albanian citizen, but also every socialist who can no longer stand the arrogance of this rotten 12-year-old government, who believes in freedom of thought and its dignity, to join the National Opposition protest, today at 5:00 PM in Tirana!/ CNA
