Prime Minister Edi Rama has spoken about President Donald Trump's decisions regarding immigrants, the Gaza Strip, the disappearance of the agency responsible for international aid (USAID), and the suspension of the resettlement of Afghan refugees.

For the Spanish newspaper "El Mundo" regarding the plan for the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Rama said that the plan must be clarified, understood and harmonized with all other actors.

"I have no comment on this. I think the plan needs to be clarified, understood and harmonized with all other actors. It's still early," Rama said.

As for other decisions of the new US president, such as the disappearance of the agency responsible for international aid (USAID) and the suspension of the resettlement of Afghan refugees, Rama said that there will be no problem with Afghan refugees living in Albania.

According to Rama, if they want to stay in Albania, they can.

"There will be no problem with Afghan refugees living in Albania. If they want to stay in our country, they can do so, they cannot return to their country and stop the violence. These are not big numbers for us, they are only a few hundred people," he said./ CNA
