Opposition, today in protest/ What is expected to happen, Berisha's

Today at 5:00 PM, the Democratic Party, which will be joined by representatives of other opposition parties, will join in protest against the Rama government.

They will gather in front of the Prime Minister's Office where the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and some of the political leaders of this party will give speeches.

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, warned that this will be the most powerful protest ever seen in history.

Berisha made the announcement for the February 8 protest after Ahmetaj's statements, who said that Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj are the actual owners of the Tirana incinerator.

On the other hand, the State Police has taken measures by restricting movement on several road axes/segments, specifically:

-From 10:00, vehicles will not be allowed to park on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, on "Mother Teresa" square, on "Ismail Qemali" street, from the intersection of Elbasani Street with "Ibrahim Rrugova" street, on "Papa Gjon Pali II" street, on "Jeanne D'Ark" boulevard and "Bajram Curri" boulevard, from the intersection of Elbasani Street with "Ibrahim Rugova" street; 

-From 2:00 PM until the end of the rally, there will be a traffic jam on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, from the intersection near the Ministry of Interior to "Mother Teresa" Square, as well as on "Ukraine e Lirë", "Papa John Paul II" and "Ismail Qemali" streets.

Depending on the development of the rally, there may be restrictions on vehicle traffic on other road axes./ CNA
