The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a meeting today at the headquarters with a delegation of German MPs.

The group of 19 German MPs comes from the state of Saxony, led by MP Jan Lödfler, Vice President of the Parliamentary Forum for Central and Eastern Europe.

Berisha said that during this meeting, discussions were held on the construction of the only narco-state in Europe, police corruption and the collapse of the judicial system, the criminal pressure of patronage and narco-euros against Albanian voters, the persecution of the opposition, mega-thefts and ubiquitous impunity.


"I informed the German MPs about the democratic crisis in the country. This is a unique crisis on the continent that borders on the unbelievable, but which is best evidenced by the tragic mass exodus of Albanians over the last 10 years, particularly towards Germany, with a figure exceeding 1 million compatriots who have left, or more than 30% of the population," Berisha stressed. 
 

The reception of German MPs comes a few days after Berisha's participation in the 37th CDU Congress in Germany./ CNA
